- Storage: 500 MB of available disk space

Downloading VidCrafter
To download VidCrafter, please follow these steps:
- Login or register at https://vidcrafter.org/register/ or https://vidcrafter.org/login/
- Go to: https://vidcrafter.org/profile/
- Scroll down to the download section and download the latest version
- Click on the blue download button to initiate the download process

Logging in to VidCrafter
- Double-click the VidCrafter.exe to launch it
- On the login screen, enter your registered username and password
- Click the "Login" button to access the VidCrafter application

- Tabs: VidCrafter consists of three tabs located on the left-hand side of the screen: Dashboard, Video Generator, and Logs. Click on each tab to access its respective functionality.
- Dashboard: The Dashboard tab provides information about your account, server time, and account status. You can also check system requirements and perform installations or repairs if necessary.
- Video Generator: The Video Generator tab is where you can create and customize your videos. It offers various settings and options to tailor your video generation process.
- Logs: The Logs tab displays real-time information about the current runtime and videos created. It also shows detailed logs that can be useful for troubleshooting.

To navigate between the different tabs in VidCrafter:
- Click on the desired tab on the left-hand side
- The corresponding content will be displayed in the main area of the screen

📊 Dashboard
The Dashboard tab provides you with essential information about your account and system status. Let's explore the different sections available:
Subscription
Your subscription level determines the features and capabilities available to you within VidCrafter. There are three subscription tiers:
- Free
- Standard
- Pro
Allowed Sessions
The "Allowed Sessions" section indicates the number of instances of VidCrafter that can be run simultaneously. This value represents the maximum number of VidCrafter sessions you can have active at the same time.
Max Video Generations per Day
The "Max Video Generations per Day" section specifies the maximum number of videos you are allowed to generate per day.
Videos Generated Today
The "Videos Generated Today" section displays the total number of videos you have generated on the current day. It serves as a helpful metric to track your video production activity.
Server Time
The "Server Time" section shows the current time of the VidCrafter server.
Check ImageMagick Installation
The "Check ImageMagick Installation" button allows you to verify whether ImageMagick, a powerful image manipulation library, is installed on your system. ImageMagick is a requirement for certain features and functionalities in VidCrafter.
If ImageMagick is not detected or needs to be installed or repaired, you can click the button to initiate the installation or repair process. Please ensure that during the installation, you select the checkbox labeled "Install legacy utilities (e.g., convert)" to ensure all necessary components are installed correctly.
Check for YouTube Upload Installation
The "Check for YouTube Upload Installation" button checks if all the required components for uploading videos to YouTube are installed on your system. If any components are missing, VidCrafter will download them for you.
If you encounter any issues during the YouTube upload process or suspect that something is not working correctly, you can use the "Repair" button to troubleshoot and fix any problems.

🎥 Video Generator
The Video Generator tab is where the magic happens! This is where you can create and customize your videos using VidCrafter's powerful features and settings. Let's explore the key components of the Video Generator:
Pexels API Key
To access the vast collection of images and videos from Pexels, you need to provide your Pexels API key. If you have your API key, enter it in the "Your Pexels API key" input field within the Video Generator, if you do not have an Pexels API key you can follow these instructions:
- Visit the Pexels website at https://www.pexels.com/.
- Sign up for a free account or log in if you already have one.
- After signing in, navigate to the API section by clicking on your profile icon and selecting "Image & Video API" from the dropdown menu. (or go to this link: https://www.pexels.com/api/)
- On the API page, click on the "Your API key" button.
- You may be asked to provide some additional information or agree to the terms of service.
- Once the API key is generated, copy it to your clipboard.
Where to Get Text From
The "Where to Get Text From" dropdown menu allows you to choose the source of the text that will be included in your videos. You have two options:
- My own .txt: If you select this option, you can upload a text file by clicking on the "Upload .txt File" button. The text in the file will be split on newlines, and each video generated will use the next line as the text content.
- Quotable API: By selecting this option, VidCrafter will utilize the Quotable API to fetch random quotes or text snippets to be included in your videos.
Background Video Source
The "Background Video Source" dropdown menu allows you to specify the source of the background videos for your creations. You have three options:
- Default - Keyword: nature: This option will use the default keyword "nature" to search the Pexels video API and fetch relevant background videos.
- Manual Keyword: If you choose this option, an input field labeled "Keyword(s) separated by comma" will appear. Here, you can enter one or more keywords separated by commas. For each video generated, VidCrafter will randomly select one keyword and use it to search for suitable background videos.
- OpenAI Generated based on Quote: Selecting this option will leverage OpenAI's capabilities to generate a keyword based on the result of the "Where to Get Text From" dropdown. VidCrafter will analyze the text and choose a single keyword generated by OpenAI for each video.
Select Music Folder
By clicking the "Select Music Folder" button, you can choose a folder that contains the music songs you want to use in your videos. VidCrafter will randomly select songs from this folder to add background music to your creations.
Add Intro Clip
The "Add Intro Clip" radio button allows you to choose whether or not to include an intro clip before the main video. If you select "Yes," two additional options will appear:
- Select Intro Clip(s) Folder: Clicking this button allows you to choose a folder containing intro clips. VidCrafter will randomly select an intro clip from this folder for each video.
- Select Intro Clip Text: This option enables you to select a text file that will provide the text content for the intro clip. Each line in the text file will be used as text in the intro clip, and subsequent videos will use the next line.
Enable TTS (Text to Speech)
The "Enable TTS" radio button enables you to add text-to-speech functionality to your videos. If you select "Yes," three additional options will appear:
- Select Language: Use the dropdown menu to select the desired language for the text-to-speech conversion.
- Select Accent: Choose the preferred accent for the generated speech from the dropdown menu.
- Test Voice: Click the "Test Voice" button to hear a sample voice based on the selected language and accent. This allows you to preview the voice before incorporating it into your videos.
Add Watermark
The "Add Watermark" radio button allows you to add a watermark to your videos. If you select "Yes," an additional option will appear:
- Watermark Text: Enter the text you want to use as the watermark in the "Watermark Text" input field. The specified text will be displayed on the top left corner of your videos.
Choose your method
Users can select between two options: "Only generate videos" or "Generate and upload videos (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)." If "Only generate videos" is selected, an input field appears to specify the number of videos to generate. If "Generate and upload videos (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)" is selected, several additional options are displayed:
- OpenAI video description: If "Yes" is selected, users need to provide their OpenAI API key in the "Your OpenAI API key" input field.
- Select platforms: Users can choose between Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Selected Instagram
- Instagram username: Users can enter their Instagram username.
- Instagram password: Users can enter their Instagram password.
- Disable likes: Users can choose whether to disable likes on Instagram.
- Disable comments: Users can choose whether to disable comments on Instagram.
- Location: (optional) Users can specify a location for the Instagram post.
- User tags (comma separated): (optional) Users can tag other Instagram users by entering their usernames separated by commas.
- Video description: Users can enter the video description text for Instagram (hidden if OpenAI video description is selected). Supports Spintax input.
Selected TikTok
- Session ID cookie: Users need to enter their TikTok session ID, which can be obtained by following these steps:
- Visit tiktok.com and log in to your TikTok account.
- Open the developer tools in your browser by pressing F12 or right-clicking on the page and selecting "Inspect" or "Inspect Element".
- In the developer tools panel, locate and click on the "Application" tab at the top.
- In the left menu of the "Application" tab, click on "Cookies" to expand the options.
- Select the "tiktok.com" domain from the list of cookies.
- Look for the "sessionid" cookie and copy its value.
- Return to the VidCrafter interface and paste the session ID into the "Session ID cookie" input field.
- Video description: Users can enter the video description text for TikTok (hidden if OpenAI video description is selected). Supports Spintax input.
Selected Youtube
- Get cookies: Clicking this button opens a pop-up with instructions to log in to the YouTube account and save the cookies.
- Video title: Users can enter the video title for YouTube (hidden if OpenAI video description is selected). Supports Spintax input.
- Video description: Users can enter the video description text for YouTube. Supports Spintax input.
- Made for kids: Users can choose whether the video is made for kids.

Visibility: Button with the options "Save or Publish" or "Schedule": Users can choose
to save the video as a draft or publish it immediately, or schedule it for later.
- If "Save or Publish" is selected, an additional radio button appears to choose between private or public visibility.
- If "Schedule" is selected, a date picker for "Schedule date" and a time picker for "Schedule time" are displayed.
Finally, you can specify the "Upload frequency (in minutes)" to determine the interval at which videos are generated and uploaded. This allows you to control the pace of video generation and uploading, such as every 1 minute or every 60 minutes, based on your preferences.
Spintax Support
The Video Generator supports Spintax for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram titles and descriptions. Simply enclose your desired variations within curly braces {} and separate them with a pipe |. The Video Generator will randomly select one option from each set of curly braces when generating the videos.
Example 1:
Input: 'I love {cats|dogs|birds}!'
Possible Outputs: 'I love cats!', 'I love dogs!', 'I love birds!'
Example 2:
Input: 'Check out my {awesome|amazing|fantastic} {video|clip}!'
Possible Outputs: 'Check out my awesome video!', 'Check out my amazing clip!', 'Check out my fantastic video!'

The Logs tab in VidCrafter provides you with real-time information and logs related to your video generation activities. Let's explore the key components of the Logs section:
Runtime and Videos Created
At the top of the Logs tab, you will find information about the current runtime of VidCrafter. This helps you keep track of the time elapsed since you started using the application.
Additionally, the Logs tab displays the number of videos created during the current session. This allows you to quickly gauge the productivity of your video generation process.
Text Logs
The Text Logs section presents the actual logs generated by VidCrafter during its operation. These logs contain valuable information that can assist you in troubleshooting and identifying any issues or errors that may have occurred during the video creation process.
The logs provide a detailed account of the steps taken by VidCrafter, including API calls, file operations, and other relevant activities. By reviewing these logs, you can gain insights into the inner workings of VidCrafter and diagnose any problems that may arise.
